A limited number of scholarships will be offered to help cover fees and maintenance. These scholarships are very competitive so it is important to apply early.

Course Requirements

The major offers some basic required courses, conducted mostly during the first and second school year. This lays a solid foundation on which to build the upper-division core of 6 courses. A great variety of selective courses are also provided and finely tailored to different needs. This makes it possible for the students to customize their course schedules based on individual interests and in this way to help achieve their specific professional goals.

An introductory course on the fundamentals of both microeconomics and macroeconomics.

An Overview of Chinese Enterprises

A course designed to acquaint students with the developmental process and the recent state of Chinese Enterprises and the laws and features revealed in this process.

Civil and Commercial Law

A course introducing students to the fundamental theory and system of Chinese civil and commercial law.

China’s tax policy

A course to introduce students to the basic Chinese tax policy and develops their practical tax problem-solving techniques.

Introduction to China’s Logistics

A course designed to familiarize students with the basic theory in logistics and the whole process of material management, including materials researching, ordering, transporting, warehousing, inventorying, processing, and distributing.

WTO and China’s Foreign Trade

A course providing students with the basic institutional as well as substantive rules of the World Trade Organization, e.g., the constitution of the WTO, its structure, rules on dispute settlement, and China’s role in the WTO.
